The Little Necklace That Could

Love, Kate necklace // Madewell blouse (old) // J.Crew cashmere cardigan // J.Crew Factory utility pants(on sale!) // Steve Madden booties // Jawbone UP24 // Daniel Wellington watch

If you follow me on Twitter, then you probably caught wind of my rant re: the USPS -- boy, do I have a story for you. Long story short, within one long weekend I had not one, but TWO packages lost (seemingly forever) because of USPS... I was not a happy camper. To make matters worse, one of them was Josh's Valentine's present for me -- this sweet little necklace (with "E" on one side and "J" on the other... are you kidding? Too precious). Josh spent most of the day on Valentine's day on the phone screaming at incompetent USPS workers to no prevail. Anyway, this little necklace (the little necklace that could!) finally ended up in Spokane after lots of yelling and rerouting, and I couldn't be happier.

The story I really want to tell has to do with this company. Josh found Love, Kate(the maker of this adorable necklace) on Square Market. Not only does Love, Kate have incredibly beautiful pieces of jewelry (my favorites are this necklace, this bracelet and this ring) but her customer service is out of this world amazing. Josh was in constant communication with her during the lost necklace incident and not only did Kate offer to give him his money back, she also offered to send me any piece I wanted... on the house, just for the trouble he had to go through (which was clearly not her fault). So today's outfit post is more than just an outfit post -- it's a thank you to Kate from Love, Kate for making my Valentine's dreams come true!

I encourage you to support small shops like Love, Kate -- not only for the incredible jewelry, but also for the personable and efficient customer service!
