A Look Back at 2017 (+ Hi, 2018!)

Is anyone else pretty thrilled to say goodbye to 2017? Don't get me wrong—there were some high highs—but there were also low lows. Because I don't want to completely scrap the year and label it a bad one, I wanted to take a look back at the things that happened that I'm proud of, or happy about:

one // travel

Josh and I certainly racked up the miles this year—just a few of my favorite trips were to the Oregon Coast with our best friends, to New York (Josh's first time!) and to San Diego to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday.

two // new skills

'Twas the year of pasta making, after Josh and I treated ourselves to a new pasta maker. It's been so much fun learning how to make it, and also experimenting with a ton of new sauces.

three // new challenges

I got promoted to a new role at work this year, which forced me to step outside of my comfort zone, learn new skills, and go with the flow. Here's to seeing what's in store in 2018!

four // love

Josh and I celebrated six years together (!!) this year, and we've had such a great last year traveling together, and exploring new parts of our city—I can't wait to see what's to come next year.

Happy New Year, all!
