Book Club | What I'm Reading

Jony Ive: The Genius Behind Apple's Greatest Products // Not That Kind of Girl // The Fault in Our Stars // Gone Girl // Things a Little Bird Told Me

I'm going to be honest -- I don't have that much free time to read. But sometimes I find a book that's so good, I'll stay up late and be a little tired the next morning just to finish the next chapter. Here are some books I'm reading now (or have recently finished) that you should check out:

If you're interested in tech, you have to read Jony Ive: The Genius Behind Apple's Greatest Products and Things a Little Bird Told Me by Biz Stone. Living in San Francisco and working at a tech company makes me automatically interested in anything about technology and beautiful design, but I truly think anyone will appreciate these two books (who doesn't like Apple or Twitter?!).

If you're looking for a more thrilling read, you have to check out Gone Girl. I read the book and saw the movie and I honestly can't figure out which was better. It had me staying up late into the night because I had to know what happened next. Talk about thrilling!

Lastly, Lena Dunham's new book Not That Kind of Girl is too. good. She's seriously hilarious and these short stories are so easy to read and will leave you wanting more (and, if you're like me, will leave you wanting to re-watch every episode of Girls to get more of that Lena humor). And, always, if you're looking for a good love story, you have to read The Fault in Our Stars. As if the movie wasn't sad enough, the book is truly gut-wrenching and beautiful.
