The Classics With Miss Me
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miss Me. All opinions are 100% mine.
It's been raining like crazy in SF lately, which is kind of uncharacteristic for here. We typically get extreme fog and overcast dreary days, but not too many torrential downpours (it's actually rained for a week straight!). I'm trying to stick to neutral basics when I head out in the rain, so jeans, boots and breezy blouses with rain coats have been my go-to. These Miss Me jeans are so comfortable and they go with literally everything. Paired with my trusty white Equipment blouse and a sweater for added comfort, this is my work look as of late.
Speaking of trusty basics, the other day I went through my closet and found I have 17 pairs of pants... And the majority (like, vast majority) of them are blue or black jeans. What can I say -- they just go with everything! Basics like these Miss Me jeans, this Equipment blouse and this plain white waffled J.Crew sweater are the way to go in the colder months. When it's chilly in the morning and I'm getting ready, I don't want to have to think about what patterns go with what or how fancy I can get -- I want to reach for something cozy, classic and basic that will look great throughout the day.
Speaking of wearing a look throughout the day, the holiday season brings so many events after the work day is over. These Miss Me jeans can be dressed up so easily from work to night -- especially with this gold jewelry from their new line with Dominique Cohen. From work to holiday parties, happy hours or events, these jeans can be dressed up or down.
What are your go-to winter basics? Do you have an extensive jean collection like me?
