Coffee Talk: My April Favorites

IMG_2690.JPG

How absolutely insane is it that it’s already May?! When my calendar app flipped to May, I doubted it for a minute before realizing that yes, we’re already over halfway through the year. Nuts!

Anyway, I wanted to round up my favorite products and finds in April. April for me was a great month, full of travel, celebrations, and new beginnings.

ONE // CULTIVATED CO.

Josh and I have Amazon Prime, which is a total life-saver in our lives. I’d be embarrassed to admit how many orders we place in a week, but they just have everything! Sometimes, though, I feel like I’m sifting through some junk to find what I want or am looking for, especially when it comes to home products or gifts.

My (genius) friend Korryn recently started an Instagram account, Cultivated Co., that spotlights beautiful products that can all be found on Amazon. From kitchen must-haves to bath soaks and more, she’s rounded up all of it!

TWO // the SECOND LIFE PODCAST

I tend to be strict about the podcasts I listen to, and keep it tight with just a few favorites like Pod Save America and The Daily. But the Second Life podcast has recently peaked my interest, especially their interviews with people like Mandana Dayani, Emily Current and Merrit Elliott, and Jessica Alba. Give it a listen!

THREE // DAILY HARVEST

I used to use Daily Harvest smoothies back in the day, but stopped for some reason. With my new job I’ve been making an effort to actually eat breakfast (something that seems to be a challenge for me for some reason) and a really quick way to ensure I’m eating something good in the morning is by stocking my freezer with ready-to-go smoothies. Literally all I do is fill these Daily Harvest smoothie packs with liquid (water, coconut water, orange juice, whatever you have) and I’m on my way. I can even just plop a straw in the top and head out the door!

FOUR // IN MY EMPTIES: THIS CLAY MASK

My skin has been acting up recently (read: travel, too much birthday cake, and the stress of changing jobs) so I’ve been trying to give it some extra love. This Dr. Jart mask sucks all of the unwanted oil and dirt out of my skin, and keeps my face under control even in stressful times.

FIVE // KATIE MARSHALL WELLNESS

For me, Instagram has become kind of annoying and full of unwanted distractions lately. Anyone else? But I recently stumbled upon Katie Marshall, a wellness guru who I am obsessed with. I’m so inspired by her Instagram posts and blog, and she actually makes me feel like working out or living a healthier lifestyle.
