My June Reading List
I've been making a conscious effort to read more before bed each night, and it means I'm jetting through some of the books that have been on my shelf for a while now. Here are four that I'm finishing this month:
I have seriously been trying to read this book for months, and this month I finally cracked down and got through it. It is SO good! It turns and twists in ways that I didn't expect (although, maybe I'm just slow to catch on? ha!) and it's about how one night changes the course of these two families forever.
I've been getting recommendations to read this book forever, and I'm so glad I finally did. Dan Harris is someone who knows what real stress looks like, and he's been able to reduce that and calm down—tips that I could definitely use! It's really helpful, especially for people like me who work really hard and can get overwhelmed.
This is another read that's been sitting on my shelf for a while and I'm so glad I finally cracked it. It's all about the meaning of life—and the nature of the reality that we live in. It's kind of mind-blowing, and also kind of awesome. If you like shows like Cosmos, you'll love this!
I'm someone who hasn't really taken to meditation, no matter how hard I've tried—but I like the idea of being more present in my daily life. This book is all about how to be more mindful every day, in the smallest of ways that can really have a big impact on your life. Highly recommend!
