Travel Diary // My Nashville Favorites
Last week, I traveled to Nashville for work for the first time in a really long time. I actually used to go to summer camp in Tennessee, so spent many a summer there when I was little. Going back as an adult was so much fun (even though it was only for 72 hours) so I wanted to share some of my favorite places:
hattie b's hot chicken
I mean, holy shit. I love fried chicken, and I love hot chicken. So the fact that there was a Hattie B's a few blocks from our hotel just made my life complete. If you're in Nashville, you can't miss their fried chicken sandwich and pimiento mac n cheese!
five daughters bakery
Five Daughters Bakery makes one of the best donuts I've ever had—and is the cutest little space ever. I went and hung out for a few hours and read a book, snacked on a donut, and had a sweet strawberry lemonade.
My wellness coach actually suggested that I visit this adorable little shop, Lemon Laine, in East Nashville for organic, clean beauty products, and it was the cutest little store ever. I picked up a few things and am already dying to go back!
I actually just happened upon this place, but holy biscuits. I had such an amazing meal at Biscuit Love I can't even tell you. I got the French omelet and a biscuit with fresh, homemade jam and thought about it for the rest of the day. Definitely a must in Nashville!
