Weekly Reads + Finds // 7.18.18

This week, I'm at an offsite for the next few days with my entire company, but that doesn't mean I'm not bookmarking away!

Here are some of the things I've been reading, trying, and loving this week:

mūn toner + serum

I recently stumbled upon this new brand, Mūn, and I tried out their toner and serum. I have to say: I'm always hesitant to try new brands because my skin is incredibly sensitive—but Mūn really outdid itself with these products. I always try skincare products for a few weeks before I talk about them here, because I want to make sure that they don't bother my skin, and that they actually work. This toner does a really good job of getting your skin really, really clean. This serum is the best smell I've ever smelled: and it makes my skin so soft, so hydrated, and keeps it clear.

protest rules

I'm a big fan of protesting—especially lately, but always have been. I'm also a really big fan of England, which is why this Vogue article about the British protests in response to Donald Trump's visit made me so happy.

badala grapefruit scrub

I'm going to be honest: I've never been much of a body scrub kind of girl. I like my showers quick and painless—I pop in, take care of business, and am out of there minutes later. No nonsense, if you will.

But recently I started upping my shower game, including dry brushing, exfoliating, and more. This Grapefruit Hand + Body Scrub from Badala has been a total game changer in the past few weeks: I'm loving it's fresh citrus scent (that wakes me up in the morning!) and how soft and smooth it makes my skin. Total win in my book!

what makes you productive?

I love learning other people's trips and tricks for productivity—I think it's so fun to see what makes other people focus and tick. This Wit & Delight piece about Kate's secret to productivity is really interesting, and her tips really work.

just finished reading: indecent

Josh and I are members at the SF Library, the main branch of which happens to be right next to our house, and the Farmer's Market we attend every Sunday. We've built up a habit of going in, browsing the new arrivals, and leaving with a few new books each week. Last week I left with Indecent (I knew nothing about it, but was intrigued by the cover to be honest) and literally finished it in one sitting that afternoon. If you're looking for a fun beach read, this is it!
