What's Inspiring Me for the End of Summer
I look to Pinterest for inspiration with each season, and the end of summer transition into fall is probably my favorite time for outfits. There's something so nostalgic about the end of summer—I remember being a kid and having to go back to school, and it was so hard to say goodbye to such a sweet thing. But fall is such a great season and an exciting time for fashion, so there's something exciting about it, too.
Here are a few of the trends I'm embracing for the end of summer:
1. White embroidered lace.
I'm crushing on white peasant tops for summer, and they're so easy to transition into fall by just throwing on jeans.
Anything with a frill or a ruffle is calling my name right now.
Slides are a trend I'm happily taking with me into fall—they're such versatile shoes, so easy to get on (obviously) and are very in right now. Love!
The first cashmere sweater I bought for fall this year was camel, and I can't wait to wear it. This color is my spirit animal!
5. Mom jeans.
I am obsessed with baggy/mom jeans right now. Give me a slim leg and a boyfriend fit and we're in business.
